So, tomorrow is Wednesday. My Monday. Three days at work and then back at Mark’s again. Yippee!

Those two days passed very quickly though and I can’t believe that they are over already.

Saturday was a really good day. I went round to my friends house and met my other friend and her baby. I had a little hold and he didn’t cry on me. I think he must be the first baby not to bawl their eyes out as soon as they see me. He is very much a little boy, and a very cute one at that.

I also had my nails painted a lovely pink sparkly colour and I must admit I wasn’t used to having colour on them at first but now I’m totally used to it. In fact I quite like feeling all feminine and girly.

Most of the weekend was sat about reading and watching films. I have nearly finished my book and have managed to watch both Bride Wars and Sweeney Todd. I also spent a lot of time just browsing the internet and lounging around. Today before coming home we popped out to do a little shopping. I tried on three tops, none of which I bought, but instead brought home three bras and Mark got some new shirts for work. I was a little disappointed because I’d been really looking forward to getting some new clothes but the selection was a bit appalling.

Imagine my delight then, when I came home and found two parcels waiting for me. One from the lovely Gena and another containing my recently bought Nails Inc delights.

Gena had promised to send me a few treats to cheer me up a little while ago and she didn’t fail. I received some fantastic goodies and a lovely note.

Claire,

Hey! I hope this package finds you well! I’ve tried to put a mixture of items that you may enjoy and I apologise in advance for all the unhealthy items! Share them round!

Take care of yourself and see you on the web!

Always,

Gena

What did I get? A boomerang, two mini bottles of rum, keyring, bracelet, sweets and chocolates a phone flasher and that cute little guy at the front there!

Thank you very much Gena. I’m looking forward to playing around with the boomerang and the rum will be enjoyed soon. I shall share the sweets around but I’ll make sure I get my fair share. I will be sorting out a parcel for you soon!

My other box of goodies was a Summer Sensations kit consisting of base coat, top coat, nail buffer and 5 nail colours.

From left to right: Kensington Top Coat Caviar, Knightsbridge, Haymarket, St John’s Wood, Warwick Avenue, Percy Street and Kensington Base Coat Caviar.

I’m looking forward to trying them out and having a play. They are really light and summery colours and will hopefully look good.

For all of you girls out there, how do you store you nail polish? I only have a select few now and want to store them but I’m not sure how. Any ideas/pictures?

Can you tell I’m getting a little obsessed with my nails at the minute?

    Your welcome Claire!

I wanted to keep the package as Australian as possible but I think something made in China snuck in there too! *L* Oh well. Hope you enjoy it! And don’t rush out and send anything. I’ll be officially “out of the country” as of next Thursday and won’t be back til the middle of August *L*

    • Ooh. Get you, little miss jet setter. Hope you have a good time, you’re going to America aren’t you? I will send something back, it may just take a while to sort out!

  2. I just chuck all my nail polish into a cosmetic bag. :) I love those colours!! :)

    • Sleepyjane & Teri, the colours are really lovely. Even better in real life, the photo just doesn’t do them justice!
